Tobby’s Second Attempt at Writing a 270-Word Blog Post

So, JT told me that I had two hundred and fifty words in my first attempt at writing a blog post containing two hundred and seventy words ONLY. So here I am, trying again.

Anyway, it’s no big deal for me. I have written more than two hundred and seventy words in a single post lots of times in the past, but writing a blog post with two hundred and seventy words. This challenge that JT set is a very interesting challenge, and I also see it as a nice opportunity to get back to my daily writing habit. I really need to get my mind and spirit straight these days. All these stressors are influencing me to go nuts in a bad way, and I need to do something in order to keep myself calm and AWAKEN!

Well, I think I can do it if I put my mind to it. I also think you can do it if you put your mind to it, too. Writing a blog post containing two hundred and seventy words, I mean. Don’t you think that this an interesting challenge? Don’t you think that this is a great opportunity to practice your writing skills? Maybe I should go nuts on the next paragraph right now.

Hello, I’m The Overlord Bear, and I’m trying to fill up an empty gap between a work in progress and the boundary of two hundred and seventy words. Do you see it? It’s coming closer. We’ve now passed by two hundred and fifty, which was where I stopped during my last attempt. And then we’re done! Freaking nuts!

  1. Cool. You wrote and counted the words. Are they the right words? Do they tell the reader anything? Are they declarative? Argumentative? Dramatic? What do you feel is the reason anyone should read it?

    • Hm, this is definitely something to think about. I guess I’d have someone read it so that they would be introduced to the 270-word challenge. It’s quite an interesting challenge, as I have mentioned in the post, you see!

      • Well, if you were to ask me, you can come here to kill some boredom and/or uplift your soul, but as for the final call of whether you would read or follow my blog, well, it’s up to you. I can’t force you, you know. I do hope you appreciate it, still, but don’t be afraid to express your honest opinion regarding my work if you want to!

        Friendship for the win!

  2. Congrats on making 270 words per post. Sometimes, when I’m passionate about a certain subject, it is hard to stop myself. But, looking from the reader’s perspective, sometimes less is more. Or it is just me and my poor concentration 🙂

    • Thank you very much! Well, I’m not much of a writer who usually writes with a word count limit. I just try to get the reader hooked in all the way, no matter what the length. Still, there’s no need to force someone to read something that doesn’t catch their interest.

  3. This was fun to read. J.T. is a tough task master, isn’t he? I found his challenge made me really think about what I wanted to say. I often write too much and say too little. It is fun to see what others are doing with this challenge. Write on!

Feel free to say something!
