The Cat Shall Nurse the Bunnies

joy of nine9

Perhaps there was a bit of heaven on earth on our hobby farm because natural enemies became friends. I like to think that the Holy Spirit flowed from our hearts into the land and swirled around, soaking into and transforming our animals’ personalities. In Isaiah, we are told a sign of the kingdom of God is when-

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.-Isaiah 11:6

On our little farm,

The cat shall nurse the bunnies.

The goat shall weed the garden.

The horse shall dine in the kitchen.

Some Composition and Arrangement Practice

Yo. I made some instrumental tracks recently. I tried to see if an animator would be okay with putting these tracks in an upcoming work of his, but he didn’t find them suitable. I’m feeling the need to do more music study and practice because of that. So yeah, as usual, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated. 🙂

No Need to Get Drunk and Stripping

Author’s Note: This story was written in response to the following prompt in the WritingPrompts subreddit:

“Zombies? Let me guess, they’re eating peoples’ brains?” “Even worse! They’re drinking all the beer!”

This story was first posted on Reddit. Oh, and I’ll most likely be writing short stories in response to writing prompts more in the near future. Doing stuff that’s as big as sakiyama feels too much for me right now, see. And about this short story, well, I went spontaneous again, I think. Still, I think I should try writing down my plans for bigger works, along with doing that via handwriting too. Oh, and of course, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated!

Now, on to the story!

Tobby tried to sing Yume Hanabi

I spent hours recording and mixing this, and although I ended up sleeping really late, I consider that time freaking worthwhile, because YAS, MY VOCALS ARE BLENDING BETTER WITH THE INSTRUMENTAL! WHOO! \(^o^)/

So yeah, Reirei is in the Special Thanks section in the credits for this cover. Her detailed feedback on an earlier mix of this cover got me freaking motivated, yo! Again, thanks very much, Reirei! \(^o^)

Now, I’d like to say that after this cover, I’d like to upload more uplifting music stuff. I think the world needs more of that, see. I was planning on having Neru’s “Dappou Rock” as my next cover, but after some thinking, I now feel like it won’t be a really worthwhile choice at the moment, so yeah.

And now, here’s this cover’s mp3. Also, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated! ^_^

Milestones and Turning Points #1

“Are you insane, Tobby?”

I dreamt of hearing the above sentence from other people, but the first time I heard that wasn’t how I dreamed it to be. Really, I think that the first one who called me that, straight to my face, was my own self. Or maybe someone else, and I was just too stupid to admit it, let alone know it, at the time.

Heraculous Relationship Support

Author’s Note: This story was written in response to the following prompt in the WritingPrompts subreddit:

You receive a boon from an ancient god. Sadly, this boon is downright annoying in modern times.

This story was first posted on Reddit. It’s been a while since I last went to r/writingprompts and wrote in response to a prompt there. I was pretty spontaneous while thinking about what to write for the prompt, and seeing how it turned out makes me worry about my state of mind right now. I am feeling down lately, honestly, but it’s not like I’m not trying to lift my spirits up. I guess I’ll need to talk with some trustworthy people some time soon…Anyway, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated. Also, MATURE GUIDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HERE, YO.
