Your Breaking of This Strong’s Bamboo

“I am flexible and thick-skinned, but only to my whims
Hiding within this shell of a tree, I have diamond skin
Over my heart of burning stone, I consider this my strength
I am Strong with a capital S, The True Superman,” so I said.
So a sign I asked from You, and You said I’d get none
But that hollow broke my own, and now I am someone.
