Tobby’s Freestyle Rap Practice Compilation 5

I had headaches while making the first three freestyles, which were made in the same day (the fourth was made some weeks later), and I felt like I was really pushing my skills to the limit there.

Rest is still important, though, so yeah, better take care of myself better.

Also, I decided to rap over famous beats this time. Below is a list of the beats I freestyled over in the vid above:

  1. Drake – Hotline Bling
  2. Migos – Get Right Witcha
  3. Eminem – The Real Slim Shady
  4. Desiigner – Panda

I’ll have to warn you, though: PARENTAL ADVISORY – EXPLICIT CONTENT

I hope your parents are truly mature, though, kids.

Anyway, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated! \(*A*)/

Tobby’s Freestyle Rap Practice Compilation 4

I’m back with my longest freestyle rap practice compilation so far, with a big chunk of it being me trying to freestyle over a certain song by Bruno Mars…and I just realized that I had some little slip-ups with the chorus lyrics.

But eh, I don’t care. Send me your honest constructive feedback, anyway, yo.

Also, sending thanks to my sister for them shades~ \(^o^)

Oh, and as for the first two clips, they’re in Filipino. So yeah. 🙂

And here are some more cuts of me trying to sharpen my freestyling, all of them recorded with my phone again one early school day morning and then edited and compiled during the following days. It also features a Kingdom Hearts reference.

As for the next compilation, I shall try to do it with video recordings as well.

And again, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated. 🙂

Tobby’s Freestyle Rap Practice Compilation

I’ve heard that the freestyling skill is a very important rapper skill, so here are cuts of my recent and rookie attempts at practicing that skill, spun up and spat out (and also re-spun and spat out again when my brain and mouth have a tangle, which happened a lot) without writing them down, recorded with my phone’s audio recorder feature, edited and compiled with Audacity, and accompanied by (what I hope is) a humorous text animation video made with AviUtl.

Now that I think about it some more, though, maybe there would be more fun if I did video recordings of those practice sessions…I didn’t think it was a good idea for a while after trying to do that during class hours, but hey, I guess my personal rooms can be good enough recording spots.

Oh, and there will be more, alright. The next video will be like this as well, though the compilations after that will probably have cuts of me and my moving face along with some goofy text animations.

And of course, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated, yo.
