My First Set of GarageBand-Produced Tracks

I tried out GarageBand on my phone last month and produced the two above tracks, much to the annoyance of one visiting friend of mine whom I had invited for a birthday/Christmas hangout at my family’s house, as I had been focusing more on getting a better handle on the app and making “Hiphoppity” while he was sitting across me. That very likely also had something to do with him calling the track something that can be usually found in low-budget porn some time later when I showed it off to him and our other visiting friends as well.

Anyway, although I don’t think my technical and theoretical music skills are that sharp yet, how the tracks turned out makes me think that I may have more of an inclination towards music than I thought. With that, I’m missing playing an acoustic guitar even more…

So yeah, honest constructive feedback is highly encouraged and will be highly appreciated. 🙂

Ah, at hello muli sa inyo! Natagpuan ko ‘tong beat na ‘to habang dinadaanan ko din ang ilang mga magagandang instrumental remake ng mga K-Pop na kanta, at gusto kong sabihin na ang astig talaga nito, astig hanggang sa punto na lumiyab ang aking pag-iisip papunta sa paggawa ng hooked rap para dito! Maraming salamat talaga sa kaasitgan na iyon, Mr. Eddie Kaba!

Ah, at saka natipo kong mag-Pinoy ako para sa mga lirika dito, kaya ‘yon. 🙂

Nga pala, gusto ko ding magbigay ng pasasalamat kay Pat (a.k.a. MeelkyWay sa Wattpad), ang gumuhit ng magandang drawing na nakikita n’yo sa video! Masaya din ako sa aking paglagay ng effects para sa video kasama ng drawing na iyon, yo~ ^_^

So yes, I am back again with a new music cover. This is one production in which I utilized an acoustic guitar synthesizer as well, and so far, using it hasn’t given me too much trouble. Meanwhile, my guitar performance skills still need a lot more practice…and I miss my brother’s acoustic guitar, alright…

Also, I’d like to say that working the vocals for this song felt like a struggle, even with me finding a key I sound better in, particularly in terms of harmonizing.

As for the accompanying visuals…I’d like to say that the illustration I worked with is quite a surprise from Biwa-san, indeed…
